CAHSI Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program
Undergraduate research experiences (REUs) play a vital role in building students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in the computing field. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the CAHSI REU programs create opportunities for undergraduate students to engage in authentic research activities, exposing them to the practice of science, providing mentorship, and helping them build professional networks. As participants, students are placed in cohorts alongside their peers and work directly with committed faculty members who guide them in formulating research questions, developing plans, and discovering new knowledge.
