Research Expertise

Prema Rayappa, Computer Science/CIS faculty lead at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. I have been teaching at CGCC since 2014. I lead the Programming and Systems Analysis, Web Design/Development and Database operations programs at CGCC. I have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, and Masters in Computing Studies from Arizona State University. I am also certified as a lead coach of the Intel for Youth Artificial Intelligence and have been involved in building Associates programs related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am also one of the advisors of the CGCC Coding Club, and actively involved in community STEM outreach programs.My role as a computer science faculty is to foster diversity, equity and inclusivity for all learning styles.
