Navya Martin Kollapally is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Kean University. She earned her Ph.D. from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and her research primarily focuses on the automatic enrichment of ontologies using large language models. Throughout her research career, she has developed five ontologies, primarily in the domain of social determinants of health. Navya has also contributed to the development of knowledge graphs from technical specification documents for the AI team at Bell Labs. A parallel area of her research focuses on ethical AI, specifically analyzing the extent of sensitive information exposure when large language models are combined with de-identified clinical text.
