Dr. Mitchell is a Doctoral Lecturer in the Mathematics and Computer Science department at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. Dr Mitchell joined John Jay College in 2024 after completing a PhD at the CUNY Graduate Center.

His research interests include Applied Statistics, Bayesian Inference and Data Analysis.

Dr Mitchell is also driven by educating and mentoring students to pursue research careers and has worked on curriculum development of statistical courses.
