DEEPEN YOUR LEARNING
Dedicated faculty, staff and students at CAHSI institutions and within CAHSI’s central office (the “Backbone”) support the dissemination of signature practices. Online learning resources provide opportunities to supplement your classroom learning.
GET CONNECTED
CAHSI Student Advocates serve as liaisons between CAHSI leadership and students in computing promoting opportunities for enhanced learning and professional development. BE A LEADER
Students at CAHSI institutions who have demonstrated excellence in and outside the classroom and who are passionate about impacting a broader community of stakeholders in tech are invited to apply to the Student Scholars Leadership Program. Selected CAHSI Student Scholars are announced at the annual Great Minds in STEM Conference and collaborate with CAHSI’s Backbone in assembling a workshop and drafting content about their experiences. ENGAGE IN UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH
Undergraduate research experiences are important for building students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in the computing field. The CAHSI vREU program supports students’ engagement in impactful research projects and provides student participants the opportunity to be mentored by a CAHSI faculty member.
ATTEND THE CAHSI SUMMIT AT THE GREAT MINDS IN STEM CONFERENCE
Every year, the CAHSI network meets during the (GMiS) Great Minds in STEM Conference. Various sessions are organized by CAHSI that challenge one’s technical skills and professional development. Such sessions include a hackathon, data analytics competition, and Affinity Research Group (ARG) workshop.
