The Computing Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions (CAHSI) Includes Alliance participated in the NSF STEM for All Video Showcase that took place from May 5-12th.  The showcase is an opportunity for NSF projects to highlight their innovations in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Computer Science education in formal and informal settings.  During the online event, members from the public, academic, industry, and policymaker sectors viewed, discussed, and voted for their favorite videos.  Facilitators also voted on their favorite videos.

CAHSI’s video describes its growing network of stakeholders working as a collective to affect change and increase the numbers of Hispanics and women who earn a computing credential.  The video also shows how CAHSI focuses on developing and implementing evidence-based strategic actions and high-impact signature practices, and on measuring the success of its efforts.

CAHSI’s compelling and informative video on how CAHSI incorporates a collective-impact framework to broaden participation of Hispanics in computing earned CAHSI the Facilitators’ Choice Award.  The CAHSI video was one of 15 out of 171 total videos in the video showcase recognized with this award.  You can view the CAHSI video by clicking on this link.
