Exploring Research: Women in Computing
Funded by Google, Kean University and NJIT are co-hosting Exploring Research: Women in Computing. Undergraduate women in computer science, information technology, and related fields are invited to learn about research and graduate opportunities in computer science and related fields, as well as the methods, models, and support to apply for national and local opportunities in computing research and graduate programs.
After this event, selected students will be chosen to participate in a multi-institution cohort which will provide mentoring and support while applying for research opportunities
Featured speakers (below) will join faculty and student researchers to entertain and explain how to do research, how to get paid for doing research, careers in research and, most importantly, how to get started! Students and faculty are welcome to attend together, as we build this regional community.
Join us at this free event, which will be held on Kean’s campus in Union, NJ. Plenty of free parking, with bus and train service.
