Dr. Nina Hosmane, Lecturer and Program Director at San Francisco State University (SFSU), is an expert in biology education, industry relationships, immunology, and infectious diseases. She received her PhD in 2016 from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, has been an author of several peer-reviewed articles in the HIV field, and has worked at BioLegend and Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Technical Applications Scientist and Medical Science Liaison. She is currently a Lecturer in Biology and Director of the PINC (Promoting Inclusivity in Computing) Program at SFSU.
We aim to support CAHSI students in career preparation, professional development, mentorship opportunities, and career development so that they will be well-prepared for entering into higher education or the workforce with interdisciplinary computing skills.
